This project was a part of a course about content based design. In my case, the subject was a segment in "Jazzblaðið", — an Icelandic jazz magazine that ran from 1948-1953 — called "Íslenzkir Hljóðfæraleikarar", which was about icelandic jazz musicians. My aim was to create a modern, bold, decorative typeface that embodied that jazz essence and drew inspiration from art deco and cubism.
